Delete your Averagers data

Averagers has no user accounts. The only data stored on our server are the anonymous community records sent from your phone when you finish a measurement with community suggestions switched on. You can delete them yourself at any time, instantly, in the app.

How to delete your data

1. Open the Averagers app on the phone you used.
2. On the start screen, scroll down and tap About · by aihoy.app.
3. Tap Delete my community data.
4. Confirm with Delete. You will see a confirmation that your data has been deleted.

To stop sending data in the future, switch off Community suggestions (anonymous) at the bottom of the start screen.

Because the records are anonymous and not linked to your name, email or phone number, we can only recognise them through the app on your phone. Please delete them in the app before uninstalling. If you no longer have the app, your records are deleted automatically after 12 months.

What is deleted

• All community records sent from your phone: start and end point of each stretch (rounded to about 100 metres), the distance, the target average you chose, and the date.

What is kept, and for how long

• The random anonymous identifier created by the app at first use. It contains no personal data, and after deletion no data is linked to it.
• Technical server logs (for example IP address) are kept by our hosting provider only for a short period for security and troubleshooting, and are then deleted automatically.

Data stored only on your phone (your last settings) is removed when you uninstall the app. Measurement data (positions, speeds, routes) is never uploaded.
